Why I am NOT a Democrat

I am writing this article to explain why I am not (any more)and generally do not vote Democrat.

I should point out that I am now a Christian Conservative (with a several liberal leanings such as immigration), that often votes Republican but not always (I did NOT vote for Republican Greg Walden for Congress in the 2014, 2012, or 2010 election, as I voted Libertarian one time and Democrat the other).
Please do me the favor of reading the entire article before you make a snap judgment as to why I state what I state, as I will admit, your life experiences may have led you down a very different path, which I certainly respect and understand.

For those how might think this is just another conservative rant, I will point out that in a survey of views, political positions, etc., I came out a 6 on a scale of 1 to 9 whereby a 9 was very conservative, a 1 was very liberal, a 5 was only slightly liberal, and a 6 was only slightly conservative.

I should also point out that I am from a family on both sides, my mother and father were originally 100% Democrat, but over the years the Democrat Parties many extreme and what I/they felt were dishonest positions forced many of my family members to reconsider. My paternal grandfather was probably the most glaring example, as he was a staunch union Democrat for the majority of his life, but after Jimmy Carter and his disastrous administration (similar to Obama's) he ceased voting Democrat (more on my Grandfather later).

My conversion came in the late 1980s after warbling both ways due to strong influences within my industry (which was and still is VERY liberal and extremely dishonest too, and growing more so every year) as well as my then wife.
In my conversations back in the 1980s, I often listened and nodded in agreement as to what was wrong with Reagan from social policies, international, and economic. As for the economy, even before my full conversion I was having difficulty reconciling these views since I could clearly see that much of what I sold and who I worked for, were persons that had "extra" money. I began to see that when these persons had extra money, they bought the many non essential products and services I offered, when they did not, business went bad, in other words the FACTS of supply side economics helped my middle class business & I then employed more persons!
Prior to this, I was a big supporter of Keynesian economics going back to a an influential professor in college (although I still have blended views here as I see points from both sides).

I will list my reasons, and I should point out that in these reasons I may often post points where I agree with Democrats, as sometimes in principle I do. However it is the extreme dishonesty and hate that is sometimes spewed from the left which I have dealt with that often turns me from their points of view.
What this article/blog post is not, is any sort of manifesto stating anyone who does vote for liberal or Democrat causes are wrong, rude, or anything else. This article simply states my life experiences that have shaped why I vote and think the way I do. If you have had similar life experiences, you might relate. If you have had opposite life experiences, I respect your view too and in fact apologize on behalf of other more conservative leaning persons.

• Dishonesty Hatred from the Left;
  I can state as an undisputable fact that over 85% of my rude/vile emails and phone calls to my business come from liberals. I can state this based on comments made by these persons and/or by researching their views (which are very often available via Facebook, Google, etc)..
  
  In fact the most vile email AND phone call I have ever had where she got very personal and showed unbelievable hatred and dishonesty came last week (third week of December, 2012).
  This lady (if you can call her a lady) was so self absorbed and full of hate, it was hard to fathom.
  
  What is also interesting is the few emails I get from persons with more conservative views often later apologize. As an example, a man who made some rude accusations that when tracking him showed him to have many pro-Romney posts on his Facebook page, a day later sent an email apologizing for his poor behavior in response to my help.
  
  What is also disgusting and sad is many of these rude accusations most often from liberals is over the many free services I provide (in other words I have not made a dime off these persons, they just want even more for free and refuse to often read the self help aquarium articles I provide to back up my free advice).

  I should note that I have been involved in the Aquarium/pet industry almost my entire life and it is very heavily liberal. It became more noticeable during a few years I was training to be a commercial pilot. During this time it was like night and day how supportive everyone was of each other, unlike how persons constantly attack one another, often personally in the aquarium industry. What I also found out during this time is that most in the flying community is generally conservative.
  Sadly this problem has gotten MUCH worse over the years with aquarium groups (that we sponsor too with $$$) attacking me in very vile and disrespectful ways. A good example is the a Planted Aquarium FB Forum and the PNWMAS forum/club in the extremely liberal enclave of Portland Oregon.
  
  I will also add that my daughter made the mistake at school of admitting she agreed with Romney in the 2012 election cycle, for this she was branded a racist. I too have been called a racist for disagreeing with Obama. Sorry people, disagreeing with Obama and his politics no more makes you a racist than disliking cold weather means you hate Eskimos!!!
  For me this is another disgusting example of the intolerance and hatred of the left.
  
  Then there is the man at a previous church I attended who to this day is a liberal (as per his Facebook posts), who constantly attacked me and my wife and worse, my autistic son. His final attack when my wife was suffering postpartum depression directly led to another evil monster/psychopath getting involved and permanently harming my daughter.
  The sad fact is this and similar have not been isolated instances, even when the corrupt Oregon DHS took my family based on charges from the psychopath it was primarily my conservative friends that stood by me and my family.
  
  Since my family was hurt by rumors, gossip, lies, half truths, etc. this is something I will always stand up against.
  Interestingly, it is generally liberals who will get angry with me, block me, etc when called out. Very recently a Christian man was spreading lies about me (possibly unknowingly) in a Facebook Aquarium keeping forum, yet when called out by me and my co-worker, he apologized very sincerely. This man though was conservative in his views.
  
  I will however point out that I do know many very kind and respectful liberals, but as a generalization these persons from my indisputable statistics are in the minority.
  
  For me, this is a major issue if not the main issue I could never return to the Democrat Party.
  To find myself agreeing with persons with such hatred would make me question whether I am on the correct side of an issue or not.


• Liberal persons rarely read my cited sources;
  This is a case where those who most often attack me, especially personally whether it be in a political blog such as this or more often in my many in depth aquarium keeping articles, they almost NEVER READ MY SOURCES before attacking me or my articles.
  
  How do I know?
  Simple, my tracking software shows time on the page and specific clicks to outside sources and which ones. As well in the aquarium keeping article attacks, when this person can be found via blogs, Facebook G-Plus, etc, 85-90% of the time they are liberal as noted earlier!


• Playing the Race Card;
  As noted earlier, this is another tactic that liberals in particular like to use, that is anyone who disagrees with someone of any ethnicity is suddenly a racist.
  
  My middle daughter who was raised to see only people, not skin color or anything else was recently called a racist for stating she did not agree with some of President Obama's positions while at Grants Pass High School.
  Sadly, under President Obama, rather than bring the country together even more from some of our darker days, he has done more to divide with his comments than any president in my lifetime going back to Kennedy.


• Playing the "Haters" Card;
  A growing in popularity method of dealing with those liberals do not agree with is to call anyone that makes a statement such as saying "President Obama is bad for my business"; is to call this person a "Hater" or their statement "hating".
  Nothing turns me off more, especially when all one has to do is turn on the television and see that the majority of hateful statements come from the left.
  
  A recent example is on "Who's Line Is It Anyway" where a cast member was improvising someone in constant re-birth directly into adults, or as one cast member stated; "asshole adults". The examples were all conservative figures.
  Had this been President Obama, Hillary Clinton, etc, I guarantee there would have been an outcry. But alas, it is OK to trash conservative persons such as Sarah Palin.
  
  As I have already pointed out that the most hateful comments and attacks on me professionally come almost 9 out of 10 from the left, so when I make a joke about President Obama and I get called a hater, this person has lost all credibility for me, especially when I think of the hate from the left that on many countless occasions has nearly destroyed my family.


• Attacks on those that anything they do not have;
  This is related to my last point, but I feel deserves a separate note/point.
  An example here is the attacks on those that many Democrats feel have some they do not have.
  
  From my perspective as a small business owner is view that anything I may have achieved does not belong to me. Based on the many rude comments from liberals it is clear many feel that the fact I have a business, I must have lots of money and much of this because I got lucky. Of course the hard facts are I am upside down in my mortgage and have spent many a time working 16 hour days and 7 days a week, often at what comes out to be $2 per hour.
  
  Even this would not be so bad if it were not for the way Democrat politicians such as President Obama and his comments such as "You did not build that" or his comments to "Joe the Plumber" in 2008 which spurs those who support him to also take such views.


• Unions;
  This is a subject where at its core, I actually agree with Democrats, however Unions have gotten out of control in their power in both politics and in how much power they have with the profitability of companies.
  
  In my humble opinion, unions served a noble purpose, as many years back many companies treated (& some still do) employees as pawns that are somehow less than human. The coal mines and sweat shops are glaring examples.
  
  Unions were able to bring dignity and fair pay into the market place, as well as a safer work environment.
  However, as per my now deceased Grandfather, who was a union man, they have gained too much power and have now destroyed many companies and even States with their demands.
  
  Michigan is a glaring example of a once great state where unions and auto makers were the pride of the world, but their demands and cronyism have destroyed this once great state.
  California is another example where the public employees unions have brought this once great state to bankruptcy due to the high taxes now required to support these public employee unions and many businesses are now fleeing.

  A couple of personal examples:
  
  
  • I had a friend who worked for Caltrans who bragged that he rarely had to work and spent the majority of his time doing nothing productive, all for more pay per hour and great benefits that I can never dream of in my private sector job.
  
  
  • Teachers Unions; for me personally, they are the most despicable. this is NOT to knock teachers, as most are great, HOWEVER I and others were unlucky enough to get the teacher from hell (not once but twice in my elementary grades). This teacher had me stand up and announced to the class that I would be a failure in life and to "not be like Carl".
    This followed me all the way through High School and had a profound effect on my life and where I am today. I also had another similar teacher in high school.
    Sadly other good teachers I met later told me that they could not believe how this lady was allowed to teach, but the teachers union via tenure protected her job!!
  
  I can go on with other examples of the problems of tenure and how seniority often over looks the better employee, but this is an article for another day.


• Support of Abortion and Planned Parenthood in particular;
  This is another major reason I began my shift away in the late 1980s.
  Initially I did not have a problem with this as I agreed with the liberal mindset on this issue. However after becoming a Christian in 1987, I started looking at life differently and realized that an unborn baby is still a life, although I still understood why there should be exceptions and I still believe this is a medical procedure that should never be banned/outlawed either (which is where some of my more conservative friends disagree with me).
  
  The real "eye opener" came a decade later when my wife, while in a deep postpartum depression after the birth of my second daughter found out she was pregnant with my son (we were also told by her Obstetrician that she likely would not be able to get pregnant again due to a "condition" she had).
  She sought help from Planned Parenthood who immediately counseled her for an abortion and NEVER checked with me or other family members who might have taken the baby if need be. They NEVER inquired that she might not be acting rationally at the time either.
  THANKFULLY, my mother-in-law got wind of the situation and was able to put a stop to it and we now have an awesome son who is a blessing beyond words
  
  For this support of what amounts to infant terrorism on my family and the support the Democrat Party provide to this organization, again I cannot EVER be a Democrat!


• Hypocrisy of the Left: Example Google;
  There are so many examples that I can waste much of the readers time just on this subject, so I will stick with this one example. Google, is one of the top corporate donators to Obama and other Democrat causes and is sadly beloved despite their shameful corporate behavior that is rarely reported.
  While this company supports Democrat candidates that have raised taxes to the point many small businesses cannot survive has the audacity to hide most of their profits offshore rather than pay the taxes their political donations have imposed on business such as mine; REALLY Google, please place your money where your mouth is???

  Then of coarse there is Google indisputable despicable corporate behavior that would arguable be on par with some of the worst companies of the last 300 years.
  
  Examples here include recent search algorithms that promote spam companies such as about.com or eHow.com who often have their facts VERY wrong. As well Amazon which might sell some great products directly, also utilizes third party sellers that now come up ahead of quality small company sellers with junk second rate products.

• Demonizing those who disagree with Climate Change/Man Made Global Warming;
  While respectful persons can agree to disagree, there is no respect on the left that their views which are more religious than actual fact based about man-made global warming. Calling those who disagree "deniers", and telling this theory as a fact so often that many now think this is an established fact when it is far from proven; no the science is NOT settled.
  A quote from Adolph Hitler, "Tell a lie often enough, loud enough, and long enough, and people will believe you."
  This even includes liberal late night comedians treating as idiots as those who have actually read many evidences against this theory, not to mention the fraud in doctoring the numbers by those supporting this theory.
  
  The are many excellent arguments against this theory, but again my problem is not those who do agree with this theory as I know respectful persons who do, it is the considerable volume of vile comments directed at those who disagree, which unfortunately is typical of the left and is something I deal with on a daily basis in my filed of endeavor of attacking the person instead of the facts.
  
  One example is a person who has already shown his well worded, but condescending comments toward my staff also making even more condescending and snarky attacks on my post about Global Warming.
  What is so very sad is while he "politely rudely" calls me out, my tracking software showed he did NOT CHECK EVEN ONE QUOTED SOURCE!! Sadly his questions to my business have also shown a tendency to have little respect for my time and reading my sources (often asking repeated questions after hours even after asking him to respect my time and read the information already provided before asking these repeated questions). His rude comments to a staff member after the staff member made a mistake also shows this man's character.
  What is noteworthy is he is clearly a liberal based on his Facebook page.
  
  In Oct. of 2015, once again a liberal who was attacking Ben Carson's views as to Climate Change showed the typical way I have found those on the left disagree. She did NOT read my cited source, which includes a peer reviewed article refuting the 97% so-called consensus. She even got vile on me for noting that I knew she had not read my source showing this based on embedded tracking software. She clearly does not understand that this is nothing new to have tracking software, yet somehow I am a loon to even suggest this.
  
  
  
  Another recent example was on another member from my Church where I was called a denier and the person rudely attacking me had the audacity to state I did not know the statistical facts. A quick check of my stat software showed he looked at nothing, not even for a second, yet somehow he knew me. He later had to attack me further in attempt to turn the tables on me for me calling him out on his rude liberal behavior (also factually based on stats). This person clearly had no knowledge of my background in science, which includes my life's work.
  Worse in my opinion was this liberal Church member never even attempted to defend me as a friend or fellow Church member. He has defended such rude posts in the past rather than call them out. In the end, you are who you defend.
  I do find it interesting how when others do step up and defend me in forums and put a stop to hate speech/bullying, that these are almost always conservatives.

  Then there is my own family, the fact we and my brother in law were or might have been armed was enough to deter a person from harming my family (we know this based on threatening emails)!


• Dishonesty of the Media;
  Nothing screams do not vote Democrat more than the media!!
  In my humble opinion, despite my many disagreements with President Obama; he walks on water and is a Saint compared to the mainstream media!!
  
  There are so many examples of their lies or often more so their omission of the news or facts that I can spend the rest of my life outlining these.
  
  I will though point out a few here:
  • Demonizing and allowing the demonization of Romney;
    Despite where you stand on this man's politics, an honest God fearing person can NEVER call him a bad person, yet the media has allowed the public to be convinced of just this.
    Here is a man that no only spent much of his personal and corporate money helping others, but also much of his time.
    
    I have read on some of our email haters personal post such things as "this man scares me", REALLY???
    I find this personally offensive since I gave up my previous business and much more to help others only to have this thrown back in my face, including by the evil man that attempted to destroy my family during my wife's postpartum depression (and forced our move here to Oregon). He even stated in one of his stalking emails he hoped Obama destroys my business!!
  
  
  • The Media's failure to honestly report Obama's failure in Bengazi. While one might agree to disagree here, not reporting the known facts and letting viewers make up their decision is disgusting. The facts are is Obama watched in real time as American Heroes died while asking for help that was denied!
    If this were a Republican, the media would have destroyed him with this (President Nixon was driven out of office for far less!!!!)
  
  
  • The phony "War on Women".
    Tell me, what women's rights were taken away under Bush 1 or 2 as well as Reagan???.
    While I personally do not agree with the Catholic Church's position on contraception this is their constitutional right that Obama was allowed to take away under the guise of the "War on Women" with the media running cover the whole time.
    
    I know of few conservatives or Republicans such as Romney that would totally disallow abortion (this is not to say that such persons exist, but they are in the minority among conservatives alone, yet alone the country as a whole).
    YET the media says nothing about the evils of partial birth abortion or THE FACT my wife in her depression was counseled to have an abortion by planned parenthood of my son but thanks to the Lord for my Mother in Law's intervention.
    
    This was NOT her or Planned Parenthood's right or a war on women for putting a stop to this. Persons who think this is right and with this kind of evil in their heart need to read Psalm 51:1-6;
    1 Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions.
    2 Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.
    3 For I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me.
    4 Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight; so you are right in your verdict and justified when you judge.
    5 Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me.
    6 Yet you desired faithfulness even in the womb; you taught me wisdom in that secret place.
    
    I praise the Lord for my son everyday and SHAME on Planned Parenthood for almost taking him from me and my family.
    
    Based on this personal incidence and the many extreme positions taken by the Democrat Party, the support of Abortion on demand well past viability or not allowing spousal or parental notification is where I am personally challenged with my Christian friends who look the other way on an issue so anti-Biblical and along with some Christian Democrat views toward Israel where I honestly struggle with my Church affiliation too.

• Taxes;
  While honest persons can debate how much we should pay in taxes as well as percentages and deductions, it is the dishonesty from most Democrat Politicians that I find appalling.
  
  Obama and others will say they are for the little guy, well I AM the little guy and my taxes continue to go up. This includes all forms of hidden taxes that affect my business and me personally, not just income taxes; Example gasoline taxes.
  The facts are that the Googles, Apples and other corporations always find a way out and it is the small businesses that in the end pay the bills.
  
  Frankly I do take it a bit personally when I help many with my free services and then they vote to put me out of business; Thanks!


• Department of Human Resources or Children's Services
  I do not think there is any more vile, controlling, evil, and MOST IMPORTANTLY UNCONSTITUTIONAL Government Agency than these!!
  
  These people have an agenda, that destroys families all in the name of protecting children.
  
  The common excuse I here for their abuse of authority and assuming guilt before innocence is that they must protect the children.
  While I will grant that if they did not use such abusive Gestapo like tactics, some children might be harmed or worse. HOWEVER, if this is our reasoning, why not apply this to someone who is accused of murder, as this might prevent future murders, right?
  Well the answer might be yes that if anyone who someone accuses of anything is put in jail first before "due process", we might just prevent a lot of crimes.
  
  BUT We are a nation of laws that assume innocence first, I would rather one criminal go free that destroy the life of an innocent man or women and I think our founding fathers agreed!!!!

• Those Who Have Stood By Me and My Family During Difficult Times Has 4 Times Out Of 5 Been Conservative In Their Views.
  Even in a recent rude attack noted in the Global Warming section, again a so-called friend who is a liberal also looked the other way.
  Simply put, in difficult times such as when dealing with the evil destruction of my family attempt by the Oregon DHS, my wife's postpartum depression, the causes for our sudden move to Oregon, and much more; the persons who have come by my side 4 out of 5 times have been conservative in their view. While those who fled the scene most of the time have been my liberal so-called friends.


• Constant Attacks by Democrats that Republicans plan to destroy Medicare and Social Security
  This is something I was beginning to take note of way back in the 1980s, as many attacked then President Reagan on this subject, but as a business person, I was well aware of the fact that Reagan actually RAISED these taxes. So while I believed this lie at first, since most of my friends, wife, and business acquittances were liberal Democrats, I finally began to think on my own and realized that the actions told a different story.

  The bottom line is yes, many Libertarians that might contribute to Republicans such as the Koch Brothers support some of these extremes, most of even the most conservative Republicans do NOT.
  
  As well, suggesting different methods to make Social Security more solvent for the future such as tying it to the Stock Market in a partial privatization does NOT mean these persons want to end these programs.
  Respectful persons can agree to disagree on such ideas (which I also do not agree with such ideas), but the disrespectful lies of taking such ideas and then saying these persons mean to end/destroy Social Security is NOT OK and when it comes from Christians, this is a reason it took even longer for me to finally become a Christian as such lies were often put forth by my liberal Christian friends back then as well!!


• Government Service & Regulation in General
  While there are plenty of decent persons both of liberal and conservative persuasion employed government services, my dealings from the USPS, CPS/DHS, and local City Government has shown me over the years how government often cannot do anything right or even honestly.
  
  As of 2016, we no longer can sell several aquarium plant products that were good sellers worldwide, due to misapplied Oregon agricultural regulations.
  I could also go on about how the new minimum wage mandates cannot be passed on in my international based Internet business, all the while I make less than current minimum wages and cannot get the Oregon Trail Card or unemployment should my business fail; who is looking out for me when they claim to care or others yet vote for those who would put me out of business????
  
  The corruption right here in Grants Pass City service via their building and planning department is a glaring example of government out of control.
  Being forced to move my Internet based business out of an garage/shed under dubious accusations of ingress and egress on my private property and then suddenly shifted to the accusation of having a few employees coming and going during the day when in fact we have a Tattoo Parlor and Bookkeeper within a block that have actual traffic generated by their business is dubious at best, corrupt more than likely!
  This is what you get when the government has too much control from local to National.

Reasons Obama Beat Romney; News Media, what it means

 



With the re-election of Barack Obama, who is arguably the worst president in US history when looked at via the U.S. Constitution and his policy results,; the media now asks where the Republicans went wrong and what they need to fix.

This immediately begs the question when Obama won only by a razor thin margin and even then he (Obama) lost big in much of "Middle America": Why was this question not asked of Democrats by the media after there much larger loss in 2010??



Republicans certainly need to correct things such as giving Karl Rove the boot and insisting that candidates step down after idiotic comments. Todd Akin should have shown some integrity/humility and stepped down after his comments.

That said, the few candidates that let their pride go before the better of the Nation, this still likely would not have helped Romney as per any credible proof.
I also doubt Romney running a more aggressive campaign similar to Obama's likely would not have helped, and even if it did; why should Romney stoop to Obama's level??

Let me now give fact based reasons as to why Romney lost and primarily let the reader draw conclusions as to how to fix this (there is no easy fix in my opinion).

REASON ROMNEY LOST THE 2012 ELECTION TO OBAMA

• By far and away the main reason Romney lost is the extremely dishonest news media that only will show minor gaffe's by Romney, while ignoring Obamas.
  
  As well totally running cover for Obama on the 9/11/12 Benghazi attack, where Obama and his minions have covered up their failure and likely the blood of four persons on their hands. I have read/seen nothing in the main stream media about the father's of two Navy Seals who have been given the "brush off" by Obama & Biden about this issue
  If this were a Republican president (say George W Bush), the media would be screaming for impeachment!!
  
  The dishonest media and left wing bloggers also continue to run with the line of that the Republican Party is becoming insignificant.
  HOW IS THIS? When Obama won by only a very small percentage (much less than in 2008) and while the House lost a few seats for Republicans, the fact is the Republicans still hold a comfortable majority.
  As well, a point rarely noted in the news is the FACT that State Governorships gained a Republican Governor and the current status (as per Wikipedia) is: 30 Republicans, 19 Democrats, & 1 Independent!!
  
  The dishonest news media also loves to carry on about California's "Super Majority" in its State Legislature and how this is proof of the Republicans alienation of Latino voters?
  I then ask, what about Texas which has just as large a Latino population???
  I would also note that I have a good friend in California who happens to be Latino that stated to me that their is plenty of Latino support for Republicans in the Central Valley where he lives. The problem is the elitist liberal vote in the coastal areas that has made California the lost cause is has become.
  
  I could go on, but their is so much documentation of the Medias Dishonesty, that only someone who truly believes good is evil and evil is good could believe otherwise.


• The previous comment feeds into my next point; and that is many persons simply DO truly believe good is evil and evil is good.
  How else can you explain persons who would actually think Romney was a bad and immoral man when in fact this man spent more time in person and with large percentages of his money helping others than any candidate (Republican or Democrat)in modern history.

  Much of this can be again blamed on the media for their never reporting these facts (failure by omission), but this also comes down to the electorate for failing to do their homework and instead believing the bull#!?# passed around in the main stream news and social media.


• A simple lack of understand of economics and business.
  
  When persons think we can tax those investing in growth for everything, we are doomed.
  
  Sadly in exit polls, most persons STILL believe Bush is to blame for this economy. The facts are this current economic slide began after the Democrats took control of both houses of Congress.
  As well, financial institutions were forced to make loans to low income persons by a bill passed by President Clinton, this came back to bite us in the a## in the late 2000s.
  Certainly Bush made mistakes too (as well as dishonest financial institutions such as Bank of America), but to place most of the blame on Bush for mistakes made by Obama, a Democratic Congress, and Bill Clinton is pure economic ignorance at its worst!


• We have too many persons simply on the dole.
  
  Romney won the upper income and middle income brackets, Obama ONLY won the lower income brackets and then by a wide margin.
  
  This fact is going to be even more difficult to fix in the next election as this is one thing Obama did right, similar to FDR in the 1936 election and unlike Carter in 1980; and that is greatly expand the welfare state. Once persons get free "Obama Phones" and more, it gets increasingly difficult to wean them from these goodies.
  
  ObamaCare once fully implemented will also be very difficult to fix, and sadly this probably is now a lost cause.
  I will say here the Republicans do have some blame as most Americans wanted some kind of fix and one was needed, but the Republicans dropped the ball on this one and opened the door for Obama.
  
  Many insurance companies and their dishonest policies share blame too, but I still trust most of these companies over the Federal Government much in the same way I have found of the two shippers our company uses.
  Between FedEx and the USPS, while FedEx can occasionally be difficult to deal with when it comes to honoring their claims, the USPS is nowhere to be found when it comes to honoring claims, and that IS how Obama Care will be!!


• Our education system is also partly to blame
  When the vast majority of young voters think Obama is just one rung short of the messiah; besides parents and the media; who else is to blame?
  
  A sad fact is most persons still think we need to spend more on education when in fact throwing more and more money will not fix the education system. States such as Utah spend less than most states yet Utah has some of the best results.

  The teacher unions clearly have too much power. I can speak from personal experience, that while the majority of teachers might be doing a good job, there are also poor to down right evil teachers that the current tenure system protects.
  I personally had a teacher that made sure the entire class knew "I would be a failure", this label haunted me for the rest of my school days and I know of other teachers who later told me they could not believe this teacher was allowed to finish her career.


• Too many persons think Government is their Daddy and are willing to hand over Constitutional rights for to the government.
  
  Examples of government agencies that we really need to honestly include the Dept. of Education and the many Departments of Human Services (DHS, CPS, etc.).
  
  I can tell readers from experience, and emails/comments I still receive for a blog post I made about DHS clearly show these agencies are simply "out of control" ignoring constitutional rights and believing sociopaths/predators rather than the facts.
  
  Before readers think I am getting too far a field, I know from speaking to others that most persons simply do not care about the families these agencies destroy, and vote for persons such as Obama who agree with keeping these agencies.
  A few generations back, any political party that supported these agencies would have been "tarred and feathered".
  
  The bottom line is until the general public stops looking for the government to be savior for every aspect of life, from disaster relief to DHS, the Republican party is going to struggle.
  HOWEVER this still may a winning issue for any Republican with the "balls" to stand up and call these destructive agencies out!! I know from comments & emails, that many if not most persons negatively affected by these many government "daddy" agencies are Democrats or normally vote Democrat.
  These persons are certainly "ripe" for the picking once they realize that TRUE conservatives do NOT support these government agencies that has harmed them and sought to destroy their families by acting outside the constitution of the USA!!!


• Too many Republicans simply did not vote
  
  Republican vote for Romney was actually lower than with the 2008 election for McCain.
  Romeny was much closer in the popular vote than McCain, which means this was due to a much higher Independent vote and even Democrat crossover than in 2008.
  
  Many Evangelicals either did not turn out or did not vote for president (because Romney was a Mormon?)
  
  Worse was the Catholic vote which actually went for Obama!!

  This is/was a sad statement when you consider Obama's extreme anti-Christian values views, especially when it comes to the attacks on the Catholic Church via his policies and supporters!!!!!

WHAT IS THE ANSWER??

I honestly do not have a clear answer other than education of the public and finding a way utilize this proverb:
“Give a man a fish; you have fed him for today. Teach a man to fish; and you have fed him for a lifetime” Overcoming the mainstream media and the garbage the entertainment community dumps on our society is going to be VERY difficult.
I thank the Lord for radio shows such as Sean Hannity or Rush Limbaugh, but I fear that most of the time they are simply preaching to the choir.

As I noted earlier, I believe calling out the lack of constitutional authority many government agencies have by using real life examples could also be a way to convert persons away from Democrat big government views.

Liberal Democrats have been smart by slowly injecting their socialist policies into our laws, way or life, etc. The Republicans (actually Conservatives) need to be equally or even more smart in fighting back.
But alas, conservatives often are not happy with just a slice of the pie, rather they want the whole pie and are then doomed to loose!

The 2012 election (as well as the 2010 Nevada Senatorial race) was proof of my last comment.
As we had persons such as Todd Akin proving my point or persons who simply did not vote because Romney was "Not Conservative enough".

I personally am no longer watching ABC Good Morning America and will occasionally still check in and note who is sponsoring ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, etc news and keep this in mind for future purchases. However, I honestly doubt that this will have too much impact (if any), but who knows if more persons were to join in on such boycotts?

Another thought is while most conservatives I know follow Biblical principles to give or help in private, not with a "look at me" attitude; I have to wonder if maybe the next time that say we go to someones home to bring a meal, we leave a card or something similar to at least let persons know "who" is helping them.

Another Biblical principle those who think Conservatives should abandon their principles should think about comes from Ecclesiastes 10:2-3:
2 The heart of the wise inclines to the right,
but the heart of the fool to the left.
3 Even as fools walk along the road,
they lack sense
and show everyone how stupid they are.

Speaking of Biblical principles; simply educating Catholics about who Obama, Reid and others of their ilk are about IS A MUST!
Evangelicals who chose not to vote also need to park their theological differences with persons such as Romney; Do you Evangelicals really think Romney has less character than Obama and who would have likely stood up for Christian valuesa???

Finally, how this election will affect me personally:

For one with the promised changes in tax code and implementation of Obama Care (which has already cost me $120 per month), I expect to pay at least $4000 more per year of which I had to cash out my life insurance last year to pay bills.

Worse I expect this hatred of anyone who has something; in my case a small business to get worse. Me and my staff have documented that 85% of hateful, rude, or simply demanding emails, phone calls, & comments to our business come from persons with Liberal views (we find this information via internet searches, Facebook etc., and approximately 50% of the time any such information is available, so who knows about the other 50%).

Midterm Elections 2010; Will we finally get it right?


With the midterm elections around the corner as of this blog post, I am hopeful that we as a nation, state, county, and city may at least get it right in more than 50% of elections.
What I mean by “right” is not to vote for necessarily a Republican, but a candidate or ballot initiative that clearly understands true Conservative American values. By true conservative that does not mean going back to the do nothing status quo of backing the often corrupt banking and insurance industries while ignoring family businesses that are the back bone of this nation such as many RINO Republicans like Greg Walden (R- Representative, OR).

The only reason the narcissist socialist, borderline communist, pathological liar like Obama could even come into power with his lies, was he offered “Hope & Change” for the many persons sick and tired of RINO hypocrites (again using persons such as Greg Walden or Gordon Anderson), that do not understand true Conservative values. Obviously the media are doing all they can to keep the socialists in power, even attacking RINO republicans such as Meg Whitman, who although I do not care for many of her views, she has at least played by the liberal playbook as per following the laws of the land when it comes to dealing with our illegal immigration problem, yet has been slammed by the media and may lose to an extreme loon by the name of Jerry Brown (ex Governor “Moon Beam”).

Sadly in my State (Oregon), Jim Huffman is running a terrible campaign letting Senator Wyden get away with his socialist anti-business, anti-freedom, anti-brain activity votes for Obama Care, the totally socialist (& brain dead) Cap & Trade Bill, and the bail outs & government take over of business.
I seriously doubt Huffman is going to pull this off since he either will not or cannot counter Wyden’s lame claims of how he has helped Oregon (despite his desperation to destroy America with his votes).

Also in Southern Oregon we have Greg Walden spending a lot of money in a race where he has no discernible opposition (this money would be much better spent with another campaign such as Huffman’s, which is why I never contribute to the Republican Party).
I believe Walden is worried many will finally see that he is not the conservative he claims to be, rather an arrogant politician with no interest the “little guy” of true conservatism. While I doubt this will happen, I hope (& pray) that many voters in Oregon’s 2nd Congressional District will “do the right thing” and either right in a candidate or write in “Other”.

In another Southern Oregon congressional race, Peter DeFazio (whom I had always have thought to have a little more integrity than many of the Socialist Democrats such as Reid/Pelosi) is running a sleazy campaign against Art Robinson rather than defend his own record such as his vote for Obama Care.
In a positive note, DeFazio at least went against the brain dead, science bending socialists in his party by voting against “Cap & Trade”.
If Peter DeFazio has any integrity left, he would run on his record and let the chips fall where they may.

Finally, if the Tea Party and the other mixed bag of conservatives and RINO Republicans push the socialists now running this country out of power, I sure hope they finally take these actions:

• Have a spine and stand up to pork spending,

• Stand up to the Insurance and Banking industry, while standing with small businesses by not giving tax breaks to companies such as Home Depot while ignoring small business that pay better and often treat their staff better and most importantly are the back bone of this Nation. • Perform badly needed health insurance reform, but not the anti-small business, pro big government take over of Obama Care. We need tort reform, ease of regulations, all the while forcing insurance companies to be responsible and show some morals. I personally do not think health insurance is a right, but it should be available to those who seek it responsibly, which in many cases it is not. As well a person should not stay in a poor work environment (such as BiMart) for the reason for health insurance, it should be affordable portable (which it is not, despite some political claims).

What is a True Conservative; Conservatism versus Capitalism

What is Conservatism vs. Capitalism?
What more importantly; What is a True Conservative, Not necessarily what the Media or even many Republicans, Libertarians, or even what some Tea Party Members or Evangelicals Say it is

(1) Conservatism is God based while capitalism is human based.

This is a core principle, and one where I respectfully disagree with blog posts such as "What Americans Mean When They Say They're Conservative.
In this blog he makes points to define a conservative and states; "A belief that it is imperative to preserve traditional morality, as it is articulated in the Bible, using cultural norms and the power of the state."
I agree with this first quoted statement, however he goes on to say: "An embrace of free-market capitalism, and a belief in the legitimacy of market outcomes." AND "Non-interventionism in foreign policy"

Sorry, but the second and third statement conflict with both the Bible (see point #6 of mine as to the parable of the "Good Samaritan") as well as his first statement

(2) Neither conservatism nor capitalism is exclusive to a particular political party. You can be a capitalist in either party, the same with conservative, although I think you will see more true conservatives in the Republican party.



(3) Capitalism seeks profit via any angle possible, even if others are hurt in the process, while conservatism seeks profit by helping others help themselves.

The capitalist will also beg for government bail outs, all the while failing to recognize what brought them to this point, again hurting others in the process (such as tax payers).

The conservative will often get the help needed in tough times by others as long as they are in an honest God fearing society (which is unfortunately rare today, even among so called Christians). As this applies to government, the true conservative does not seek government bail outs or higher taxes, rather adjusting spending, etc.

Socialism is worse yet, it seeks gain by making others dependent on the giver, although the while the giver pats himself/herself on the back for being a "good person"

(4) A conservative will generally get the most out of his/her employees by treating them as humans and with respect, while a pure capitalist will take advantage, use , and then often discard employees.

(5) A True conservative IS compassionate and does not need to use terms such as "compassionate conservatism", while the capitalist has to use these terms to justify actions.
Unfortunately some Evangelical Christians do not seem get this, which is one of the reasons someone of Obama's charisma was elected (good or bad), as he filled the vacuum left by a few Evangelicals who have become capitalist thugs making others (such as myself) feel like losers because our life’s failures.

(6) A conservative follows the principles of the Good Samaritan while a Capitalist walks across the street.

This is where many “Ron Paul Libertarian Pseudo Conservatives” miss the boat in my view. Thinking what goes on in Europe, the Middle East, etc. is none of our business is not only extremely naïve as the events of 9/11 or WW2 prove, but even if this were true, it certainly does not follow the teaching of the good Samaritan found in Luke 10.

On a more personal note, this "Ron Paul" Libertarian viewpoint came close to destroying my family when persons that held this viewpoint of "looking the other way" while my family was destroyed by a predator that took advantage of my wife during a very dark time for my family (my son was very sick and my wide suffered severe postpartum depression).
My thoughts are SHAME on those who hold this non conservative viewpoint and then claim to be a conservative!!!!

(7) Being a Capitalist, a Republican, a Christian does Not make you a conservative.
Despite what many may think about China, I have many business dealings with China and while they might be considered a communist nation, in reality China is run as a pure capitalist nation (in the purest since of capitalism!), however what China is not is a Conservative nation.
The bottom line is China is a good example of how you can have a capitalist system apart from conservatism and why so many persons that often confuse conservatism with capitalism when nothing is further from the truth.

Sadly many capitalists (both Republican and Democrat) give conservatism a bad name do to their capitalist actions/views that lack conservative principles (examples might include Bill Gates, the founders of Google, our local politicians Greg Walden or Gordon Anderson

(8) Being a true conservative is NOTHING to be ashamed of, despite labels placed upon them by mis-informed liberals, or the media.

(9) A true conservative is conservative first, a Republican (or other party) a distant second and will pull the handle for the candidate that will uphold their beliefs in conservative integrity, whether it be a Democrat or a third party candidate.

(10) A true conservative is not condescending or arrogant. A Conservative will find out the facts first then judge later. Such is why politicians such as our local Congressman Greg Waldenor past State Representative Gordon Anderson whom have made flippant condescending remarks when asked for help are not true conservatives.

(11)Humility is the ear mark of a true conservative, as outlined in Philippians 2:3-4
3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. 4 Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.
Again this is an area many RINO Republicans (such as the before mentioned Greg Walden or Gordon Anderson) show themselves to not be true conservatives despite being labeled as such!

(12) A true conservative does not participate in rumors (similar to #10), whether spreading, starting or even looking the other way. Truth MUST be found first before any honest judgments can be made.
This can be on an individual level, a government entity (such as DHS/DCS), a supervisor at a job (that is not interested in truth about a falsely accused employee), a Judge, a Politician, the media, a Law Enforcement Officer, or anyone else with the ability to exercise discernment.

(13) A True Conservative takes full personal responsibility for their actions/situation. Even when one's situation is beyond one's control, one's actions generally are not.
This does not mean we will not make mistake, oh to the contrary, the difference is taking responsibility for these mistake.
This also means to do all you can to remedy the situation you are in, as well filing frivolous law suites certainly is not taking responsibility.

Taking responsibility for ones own actions and situation is something the disgusting "Occupy Movement" has no concept of.

(14) A True Conservative is not a Narcissist, this is related to showing humility and taking responsibility.
A good example of a Capitalist that is NOT a conservative is Steve Jobs based on his narcissistic views as well as his lack of taking responsibility and lack of humility (it was always about Apple when he was copied, but never a problem when he "borrowed" from others, as well as his failure to take responsibility of a child he fathered, leaving this child and mother in near poverty while he made his billions).
I know many conservatives such as Rush Limbaugh (whom I otherwise respect) love to point out his business accomplishments (of which he has MANY); as human being he is NO ONE I WOULD EVER ASPIRE to be like OR desire his success if i ran my business like him.

(15) A true conservative recognizes the importance of respecting an honest and just government and its place in protecting its citizens.
However a true Conservative recognizes that Government too can steal, promote injustice, etc (such as what I have seen with the Oregon DHS).
As well, a true conservative does not turn a blind eye to such injustices committed by the State including Law Enforcement, which unfortunately I have seen many conservatives (even Sean Hannity in his blind support for law enforcement and whom I have great respect for otherwise, just because they feel a robotic need to respect these agencies.
The facts are wrong is wrong whether comes from pet agencies that are the "favorites" of the left or the right!!!!

This also applies to popular Politicians or their supporters, and this does not necessarily mean that a Politician that has committed a "wrong" is necessarily a bad person, but this applies to blind support for a Politicians bad behavior.
This is no better looking away from a child that is misbehaving, in other words we can still support our government, officials, police, agencies, etc. but we MUST call them into account when they are wrong and those that do not are most clearly NOT True Conservatives!.

I observed this type of support first hand with the Oregon DHS and with blind support of our previous local state representative (Gordon Anderson) after he made the ludicrous statement that "17 year old employees should only have jobs at places such as McDonald's, not in middle management" (this after being confronted about a law that was holding back the advancement of a very highly qualified high school graduate that happened to be 17 at the time).

(15) Although many will define a conservative in a strict dictionary since such that they put “so-called” conservatives in a box by stating conservative only strive to preserve the past; while on the surface this may fit a tidy dictionary version of a conservative, but is 180 degrees wrong as to what a true conservative is as a true conservative would not embrace such past “traditions” as slavery which runs counter to the God given right of freedom.
This is a common practice of the mainstream media and liberals.

The bottom line is a true conservative only embraces the past or tradition if they are based in how God views us, not 100s of years of human based traditions or customs.
God sees us as all equal, created in His image, not to be taken advantage of by dishonest bosses/employers, government agencies, treated as less than equal, etc.
BTW, in my opinion, one can still be conservative even if agnostic/atheist as long as still believe in these points including the truths held in the Bible, just not a Divine Creator or Divine Inspiration of the Bible

This verse speaks to those that feel life owes them a hand out and why it is not conservative no matter how well intentioned to reward those for laziness

The LORD abhors dishonest scales,
but accurate weights are his delight.
This speaks to businesses that might be capitalist, but are certainly not conservative, which sadly there are far too many

Proverbs 10:11
The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life,
but violence overwhelms the mouth of the wicked.
This verse (along with countless others) speak to the wrongs of spreading rumors or making false judgments, that sadly even Christians will participate in, as well the many government organizations such as the often corrupt Oregon DHS/DCS that are often out of control

Proverbs 10:17
He who heeds discipline shows the way to life,
but whoever ignores correction leads others astray.
Whether are corporate CEO, an entry level worker, a politician, a teacher, etc; no one is above correction and those that feel they are certainly are not a conservative.

EXAMPLES
*Some examples are a conservatively run business will treat other businesses with respect and employees with respect, all the while growing their business by example.
While the capitalist will squash other businesses and "throw bones" to employees to make themselves feel good all the while blaming most problems on the employees and running their business from the bottom up rather than the conservative way of the top down.

*Google is an example of a capitalist business that donates to many liberal causes all the while smothering small businesses with their immoral actions, often out of site of the "see no evil hear no evil" media.

*Many who lump the definition of conservative to a rigid dictionary definition will state that conservatives want to back to the days of clear cutting forests, destroying bison or other over the top methods of “taming our land, environment” regardless of consequences.
This is not a conservative as a conservative should be a steward of his/her environment/land, this means utilizing the land we are placed on, not abused.

Sadly ANWAR (Alaska National Wildlife Reserve) is a good example of the pendulum swing the other direction where we are also not stewards by locking up safely usable resources.

Slavery is another issue many will box conservatives into (forgetting what Abraham Lincoln stood for); although the Bible generally only addresses the custom of slavery, a clear reading of the ENTIRE Bible shows it is certainly not God’s plan.
For instance in I Timothy 1:10 the author lumps those deal in the slave trade with the worst of society: “for adulterers and perverts, for slave traders and liars and perjurers—and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine.”

Revelation 21:6-7 clearly shows how we ALL will become God’s sons/daughters (both slave and free, man & women)
“He said to me: "It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life. He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be my son.”

*Here in my current home town, I unfortunately see this contrast all too often with many businesses and civic leaders patting themselves on the back for giving a dollar to someone in front of Wal-Mart or donating money to build a park (which is fine on the surface), all the while treating those that would lift themselves up via hard work like cr##.

Examples is the Oregon Food Stamps program that discriminates against the self employed with sarcastic employees.

As well as arrogant Politicians such as Greg Walden.
Also included are many prominent person and business owners that will critique me for recycling (telling me I am a loser, making up lies and worse) for trying to better my family which includes an autistic son and a daughter that was harmed by an evil presence that forced our family to move here in the first place.
This includes employees/managers at Ray's Food Place, Safeway and U-Save Market.

Since one tenant of a true conservative is personal responsibility, comments such as by a manager at Safeway that "they are responsible" if some gets hurt collecting cans is bogus, as we are responsible for our own actions and collecting cans to supplement one's income is taking responsibility for one's self, but blaming Safeway or anyone else for getting cut on a bottle, can, etc. negates any personal responsibility.
So my point is such comments should once more be judged on an individual basis and making such statements (such as this Safeway manager) flies in the face of point #10.

Hopefully some RHINO Republicans will read this and finally get the message, as the misunderstanding of what a conservative TRULY IS spans both Democrat AND Republican!
Otherwise history is destined to repeat itself if more Schwarzeneggers, Whitmans, Waldens, Gordon Andersons, etc. get elected and otherwise conservative persons look for “hope” in the wrong place.

Republican Integrity (or lack there of such as Greg Walden) vs. Democrat lack of morals or discernment

Update 5-8-12

Greg Walden is once again on the ballot and once again our lousy Republican Committee cannot place a true conservative on the ballot.
By True conservative, I mean not just voting many of the "party line" votes, but showing true compassion and understanding of what the citizens of our state and nation must go through; especially small businessmen.
While his back seems to indicate he should understand at least some of the trials other business persons face, his actions and that of his staff CLEARLY do not!!

So once again I will refuse to vote for Greg Walden in 2012 nor give a dime to any general republican fund until this man is out of office!

It is about time that Republicans should never have to use "compassionate conservative" because in fact the two words are synonymous. I urge ALL moral conservatives to reach into their hearts and remove this man from office.
Please write in a candidate (a few friends are writing me, Carl Strohmeyer on the ballot). But whoever you choose, please show Democrats in this state that Republicans can also show an interest in the "little guy" and remove Greg Walden from office!!

To back up what I also observed from this man, here is a quote (one of many similar too I might add) from a community member who has met this phony:
"I live in Hood River as well..Please tell me how he is a solid member of the community. My kids went to school with his..I've been at his home and "tried" to have a normal conversation with him. He barely spoke to anyone . His son is a nice kid though.

He's not all that well thought of in the valley. What gets him elected and re-elected is name recognition. "

What is clear is Greg Walden is good at voting the party line, but that is not necessarily the best idea any more than than an Democrat who votes with Pelosi and her disgusting agenda 90% of the time.
From those who have met him or interacted with his staff (myself included), it is clear that Walden is an aloof individual with no empathy for others.

His anti family and anti small business views are just plain wrong and the fact that neither he nor his staff will return emails or phone calls in arrogant.
This person implies Christian/Conservative values but has none as did other local (southern Oregon) candidates such as Gordon Anderson (who thankfully is no longer in office).

Greg Walden (along with Gordon Anderson and many others of this RINO ilk should read Luke 10:25-37 as they are like the priest or Levite in the story.

I have always taken care of my family and never have asked for help, yet recent years including a move form a going business in LA to protect my family and get my wife and children away from problems that ended up with our family being labeled and broke.
My first daughter had problems (I will not go into) that my wife could not deal well with due to severe postpartum depression, followed by a daughter with feeding and other difficulties followed by a son that contracted Meningitis in the hospital followed by other serous problem that left him in and out of the hospital for the first 14 months of his life. Later he was diagnosed with Autism.

Much of what happened as to family could have been slowed, stopped, prevented, etc. if others who were in place to help just stood up and were counted.
This brings me to many RINO Republicans nowadays, although I do not believe Government is our daddy, if there are provisions in the law to help persons such as us, they should be granted equally or otherwise discarded. I have always disliked the term compassionate conservatism as conservatism at its core is compassionate and helps those who helps themselves. Unfortunately as to Food Stamps/ Oregon Trail (along with many other areas of government such as labor laws which I will not address here) this is not the case.
I have tried contacting many local politicians where I got little help, and finally found that my local US Representative (Greg Walden) was whom I needed to seek help from. Yet calls were never returned and the one time I did speak with this horrible individuals office they talked down to me, explaining to me that I need to know more about accounting (even though I got nothing less than an ‘A’ in high school or college accounting)!!!

The problem is the Federal Food Stamps program only allows for an over all cost of goods and expenses deduction of 50% from sales.

This is ludicrous as even my vastly more profitable Aquarium Maintenance business back in LA NEVER made these kinds of profit and our internet business that we have now is doing well when we achieve 10% (& for readers passing judgment on me while reading this, although I work very long hours, this is the only way I can take care of my autistic son, cook my family meals and in general take care of my family).
Walden’s office and other local government employees even admitted that it if I was a bum pan handling in front of Wal-Mart for my next drink, I could get food stamps. Is this what conservatism really about, I do not think so!

Based on Greg Walden and some Evangelical Republicans actions (that pretend to be conservative when it is politically opportunistic), I know the statement “What Would Jesus Do” would not apply to them as this is certainly NOT what Jesus would do. There is much more to this problem than just this one incident, this is just one recent example.

Although I often listen to Rush Limbaugh and find him very insightful, I have to disagree and note that he is way off base as to why so many persons are disenchanted with many Republicans. Liberal Republicans such as John McCain would never get the nomination if so many everyday Republican voters, such as me did not feel that the so-called conservative candidates would live and act what they say.
I am sorry, as the Bible says: “You will know my children by their fruits”. I know many others who are fed up with pseudo conservatives and Evangelical Christians that are total hypocrites and the Republican Party and pundits such as Rush Limbaugh need to wake up and realize that the arrogance of so many Republicans is a major turn off to so many Republican voters and even some of my Democrat friends that have considered voting Republican and then were turned off by their actions vs. words.

The difficult dilemma is my choices on a National level is with a likely Democrat candidate that is either so ignorant or immoral as to the dangers we face on a national level that he thinks we can reason with persons that are pure evil and want nothing more than ours and Israel’s destruction.
History has proven this time and time again (think about Neville Chamberlain; “peace in our time” or the US Senator who stated that if he could of talked to Hitler before he invaded Poland, the invasion would never have happened. From my own life this kind of reasoning that Obama and others like Nancy Pelosi espouse is a kin to my the statement; “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” (which I wrote a personal post in my journal about).
On a personal level this kind of evil thinking by Obama and his ilk is why my family is in the situation it is in now, while on a national level this can harm far more than just our family.
